sounds good to me
2/24/2007 3:07:00 PM
I went to the Apple store yesterday to buy a headset for skype. I ended up buying the Harmon Kardon speakers I had been looking at on the Apple website.

My last laptop had kickin' little Harmon Kardon speakers so I knew these were the ones for me.

I asked Freck to give me his professional audio opinion. He quickly asked the sales person for the technical specs for the speakers.

I only had to have a listen and look at them in the store to know they would be good for me.

Freck looks at the audio specs. Pauses. "20 watts." "You are paying $10 a watt for these."

They aren't the most powerful speakers, but they look good. Aesthetically they are perfect, and isn't design more important sometimes? I think my hearing may be going anyway.
